Abstract
In this study, it was aimed to examine the professional anxieties of teacher candidates studying in Physical Education and Sports Teaching Departments. The scanning model was used in the study, as the universe, students studying at the departments of Physical Education and Sports Teaching at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University and Physical Education and Sports Teaching at Yozgat Bozok University in the academic year of 2019-2020 were determined. . Questions were asked about the anxieties of the candidates about their appointment to the profession, their concerns about professional life and student-centered concerns. The "Occupational Anxiety Scale for Teacher Candidates" developed by Cabı and Yalçınalp (2013) was delivered to the candidates participating in the study via the Internet Web Survey due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As a result; In terms of the participants of this study, it was found that occupational anxiety levels increased the level of occupational anxiety in terms of class level, gender and age variables, while it was found that there was no significant difference in occupational anxiety levels according to the variables of job status and monthly income level.
