Scientific studies submitted for publication in the journal are examined by the editor for compliance with the principles and spelling rules of the journal. Original studies that are deemed appropriate are sent to at least 2 referees from the referee board in line with the principles of independent refereeing. If the referees do not approve the evaluation within 21 days, the study is sent to another referee. In addition, if no evaluation report is received from the referees within 1 month, the study is sent to another referee for evaluation. Original studies are published or rejected in line with the decisions of the referees. Studies that do not comply with the journal's publication principles and spelling rules are sent back for correction.

Although no fee is charged for the studies published in the journal, no fee is paid to the author whose work is published. In addition, the author agrees that all publication rights of the studies sent to the journal belong to Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Journal of Sports Sciences. The scientific and legal responsibility of the studies published in the journal belongs to the author.

- Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be scientific and original.

- Articles should be prepared in accordance with internationally recognized scientific ethics rules.

- Articles submitted for publication must not have been published elsewhere or submitted to any other journal for publication.

- The journal publishes articles twice a year, in June and December. Articles that do not reach the publication date can be published by adding to the previous issue.

- Author names, institutions and e-mail information should be written in the appropriate field in the manuscript.

- The submission and acceptance dates of the articles published in the journal are shown at the bottom of the first page of the articles.

- Each published research data must be kept by the researcher for five years. Data and analysis programs of the studies may be requested from the authors when deemed necessary.

- It is mandatory to submit the report obtained by Turnitin or iThenticate showing that 20% plagiarism does not exceed.

- The peer review of the articles is carried out with a double-blind method.

- For article submission, researchers are required to fill in and sign the copyright form on the journal page and upload it to the system.

- All procedures regarding the process after the submission of the article should be followed by the authors on the journal web page.

- All corrections and changes related to the article will be made on the journal web page.

- The period given to the author for the requested corrections and changes related to the article is 1 month. If they are not made within the specified period, the article will be automatically rejected.
