Çift Kariyer Yapan Milli Sporcu Öğrencilerin Yaşadıkları Problemlerin İncelenmesi

This study, it is aimed to examine the problems experienced by national sports students who have dual careers. In the research, phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The research group consists of 17 national athletes aged 18 and over who do sports in different branches. The research group consists of 17 national athletes aged 18 and over who do sports in different branches determined by the purposive sampling method. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool. The data obtained in the research were analyzed by the content analysis method. According to the findings, it was determined that national athlete students who try to carry out both national sports and academic education life together have problems in the sub-dimensions of social life, academic education life, camp processes, sports life, family life, coach, teacher, psychology and professional life. In addition, the most important problem in the sub-dimensions determined is academic education life. It is thought that this study is important in terms of forming a basis for the studies that can be done to solve the problems experienced by national athlete students who try to maintain balanced sports and academic education life.

Bu çalışmada çift kariyer (dual career) yapan milli sporcu öğrencilerin yaşadıkları problemlerin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olgubilim (fenomenoloji) deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırma grubu amaçlı örneklem yöntemiyle belirlenen 18 yaş ve üzerinde farklı branşlarda spor yapan 17 milli sporcudan oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre hem milli sporculuğu hem de akademik eğitim hayatını birlikte yürütmeye çalışan milli sporcu öğrencilerin, sosyal hayat, akademik eğitim hayatı, kamp süreçleri, spor hayatı, aile hayatı, antrenör, öğretmen, psikoloji ve meslek hayatı alt boyutlarında problemler yaşadıkları belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca belirlenen alt boyutlarda öne çıkan en önemli sorunun akademik eğitim hayatı olduğu göze çarpmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın spor ve akademik eğitim hayatını dengeli bir şekilde sürdürmeye çalışan milli sporcu öğrencilerin yaşadıkları problemlerin çözümüne yönelik yapılabilecek çalışmalara temel oluşturması açısından önem taşıdığı düşünülmektedir.
