KAYNAŞTIRMA ÖĞRENCİSİ BULUNAN BEDEN EĞİTİMİ VE SPOR ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN BİREYSELLEŞTİRİLMİŞ EĞİTİM PROGRAMI (BEP) HAZIRLAMAYA İLİŞKİN ÖZ YETERLİLİKLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ

This study aims to examine the competency levels of physical education and sports graduates in preparing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with intellectual disabilities. A quantitative research method, specifically the descriptive survey model, was employed in the study. The research sample consisted of 233 participants who graduated from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching. To determine the participants' competencies in preparing and implementing IEPs, a personal information form and the "Individualized Education Program Competency Scale for Teachers" developed by İlik and Sarı were used. Data analysis was conducted using the SPSS software package. Based on the results, parametric statistical test methods were utilized. The effects of various variables—such as gender, educational background, professional experience, prior training on IEP preparation, and age—on IEP competency levels were examined. The findings revealed that the interaction between educational background and having received IEP preparation training had a statistically significant impact on the IEP preparation process. This result suggests that teachers’ educational levels and whether they received training on IEP preparation contribute significantly to the effective development of individualized education programs.

Bu araştırmada Beden Eğitimi ve Spor bölümü mezunu öğretmenlerinin zihinsel engelli öğrencilerle ilgili bireyselleştirilmiş eğitim programı hazırlarken ve uygularken BEP yeterlilik düzeylerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma da nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın araştırma grubunu Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği bölümünü bitiren 233 katılımcı oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada BEP hazırlama ve uygulama yeterliklerini belirleyebilmek için kişisel bilgi formu ve İlik ve Sarı’nın geliştirdiği “Öğretmenler için Bireyselleştirilmiş Eğitim Programı Yeterlilik Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi aşamasında SPSS paket programı kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda çalışmada parametrik istatistik test yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Çeşitli değişkenlerin (cinsiyet, öğrenim durumu, deneyim, BEP hazırlama eğitimi alma durumu, yaş) BEP yeterlilikler üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda ortaya çıkan öğrenim durumu ve BEP hazırlama eğitimi alma değişkenlerinin etkileşimi, BEP hazırlama sürecini istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir şekilde etkilemektedir. Bu sonuç, öğretmenlerin eğitim seviyeleri ve BEP hazırlama eğitimi alma durumlarının, bireyselleştirilmiş eğitim programlarının etkili bir şekilde hazırlanmasına olan katkılarının olduğu söylenebilir.
