Muaythai Sporcularında Statik Germe Egzersizlerinin Esneklik, Çeviklik ve Sürat Performansına Akut Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, muaythai sporcularında statik germe egzersizlerinin esneklik, çeviklik ve sürat performansına akut etkisinin incelenmesidir. Sporcular rastgele deney (n:10) ve kontrol (n:10) olmak üzere 2 gruba ayrılmıştır. Katılımcıların 10 dakikalık ısınma koşusunu takiben ölçülen esneklik, çeviklik ve sürat ön testlerin ardından kontrol grubu pasif dinlenirken, deney grubuna statik egzersiz protokolü uygulanmıştır. Uygulamalar sonrası sporculara; esneklik, çeviklik ve sürat performans son testleri yapılmış ve her iki ölçüm sonuçları birbiri ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Verilerin normallik düzeyi ShapiroWilk testi ile belirlenmiştir. Normal dağılım gösteren verilerin analizinde bağımsız gruplar için Independent Sample T Testi ve bağımlı gruplar için Paired Sample T Testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, deney grubu çeviklik performansında anlamlı farklılığa rastlanmazken, esneklik ve sürat ön test - son test ölçüm değerleri ile deney-kontrol gruplarının esneklik değerleri arasında deney grubu lehine istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir (p<0.05). Kontrol grubunda anlamlı farklılığa rastlanmamıştır (p>0.05). Sonuç olarak muaythai sporcularında akut olarak uygulanan statik germe egzersizlerinin çeviklik performansına etkisinin olmadığı, esneklik ve sürat özelliklerini ise olumlu etkilediği söylenebilir.
