GENÇ-YAŞLI KADINLARDA EGZERSİZİN FİZİKSEL UYGUNLUK VE FONKSİYONEL FİZİKSEL UYGUNLUK YAŞINA ETKİSİ

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı genç-yaşlı kadınlarda düzenli egzersizin fiziksel uygunluk ve fonksiyonel uygunluk yaşına etkisinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma günlük aktivite hizmeti veren Altın Yıllar Yaşam Merkezinde yürütülmüştür. Egzersiz programının yürütülmesi ve test uygulamaları için kurumdan resmi izin alınmıştır. Araştırmaya bu merkezden hizmet alan, sağlık sorunu ve kronik ağrısı olmayan, günlük yaşam aktivitelerinde bağımsız, desteğe ihtiyaç duymayan, gönüllü 65 yaş üzeri 27 kadın dahil edilmiştir. Egzersiz grubundaki kadınlar(n=13) nefes egzersizleri, postür egzersizleri, kas kuvveti, denge, esneklik, düşme egzersizlerini içeren haftada iki gün egzersiz programına alınmıştır. Kontrol grubundaki kadınlar (n=14) sadece el işi, boyama, satranç gibi diğer aktivitelere katılmışlardır. Fiziksel uygunluklarını ölçmek için Senior Fitness Test (SFT) kullanılmıştır. Fonksiyonel uygunluk yaşlarını hesaplamak için eşitlik kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizi SPSS 20.0 paket programında parametrik bağımsız değişken ortalamalarının karşılaştırılmasında t testi, parametrik olmayan ortalamaların karşılaştırılmasında Mann Whitney U testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın başlangıcında; grupların çeviklik-dinamik denge, ve fonksiyonel uygunluk yaşları arasında fark vardı (p<0,05). Bacak kuvveti, kol kuvveti, aerobik kapasite, üst taraf esneklik ve alt taraf esneklikleri arasında anlamlı fark yoktu (p>0,05). Altı ay sonrasında egzersiz grubunda; iki zaman arasında bacak kuvveti, kol kuvveti, çeviklik-dinamik denge, aerobik kapasite, fonksiyonel uygunluk yaşında anlamlı değişim görüldü (p<0,05). Kontrol grubunda; bacak kuvveti, çeviklik-dinamik denge, fonksiyonel fiziksel uygunluk yaşında anlamlı değişim bulundu(p<0,05). Egzersiz sonrasında iki grup arasında kol kuvvetinde anlamlı fark vardı (p<0,05). Düzenli egzersiz genç-yaşlı kadınların en çok kol kuvvetinde etkili olmuştur. Fonksiyonel fiziksel uygunluk yaşı her iki grupta iyileşmiştir.
