Çocuk ve Ergenlerde Dikkat Eksikliği ve Hiperaktivite Bozukluğu Tedavisinde Fiziksel Egzersizin İşlevi

Year 2020, Volume: 2 Issue: 1, 24 - 32, 28.06.2020

Abstract

The Function of Physical Exercise in the Treatment of Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder in Children and Adolescents.

Year 2020, Volume: 2 Issue: 1, 24 - 32, 28.06.2020

Abstract

In this review, the functions of physical exercise (PE) as a method of intervention in children and adolescents diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) were examined. The literature review technique, which is a qualitative method, was used to gather data in the study. The theoretical framework in introduction section was created with primary and secondary scientific sources. In order to reach concrete and direct results for the problem, randomized controlled primary sources containing any physical exercise intervention were published as full-text in international refereed journals only in and after the year 2000. It has been shown that PE intervention can be used alone or in combination with other intervention techniques in the treatment of ADHD, since it has positive physical, physiological, motoric, cognitive and behavioral effects in children and adolescents with ADHD. However, it is seen as a necessity to carry out new studies for the limitations in some researches and more precise unity of evidence.
