Fonksiyonel Egzersiz Bandı (TRX) ve Vücut Ağırlığı Kullanılarak Uygulanan Direnç Antrenmanlarının Yüzme Performansına Etkisi

Year 2017, Volume: 7 Issue: 1, 62 - 75, 13.12.2017

Abstract

Araştırmanın
amacı, yüzmede fonksiyonel egzersiz bandı (TRX) ve vücut ağırlığı kullanılarak
yapılan direnç çalışmalarının 200m serbest yüzme geçiş derecelerine olan
etkisinin belirlenmesidir.

Çalışmaya
gönüllülük temeline dayalı, 13 yaş, 21 lisanlı erkek yüzücü (Ort. ± SS=13  ±00
yaş,
158.2 ± 2.078 cm. boy ve 48,4 ± 2.1 kg. vücut
ağırlığı)
katılmıştır.
Araştırmada; TRX kullanarak direnç antrenmanı yapanlar; TRX grubunu (n=7);

Effects of Functional Exercise Band (TRX) and Body Weight Resistance Training on Swimming Performance

Year 2017, Volume: 7 Issue: 1, 62 - 75, 13.12.2017

Abstract

The aim of this
study was to determine the effects of functional training band (TRX) and body
weight resistance training on 200m freestyle swimming splits.

21 male
competitive swimmers(Age: 13±00 years old; Weight: 48,4 ± 2,1 kg;
Height: 158,2 ± 2,078 cm) ) volunteered to participate in this study. TRX
trained swimmers were considered as TRX group (n=7), body weight trained  swimmers were considered as body weight group
(n=7) and untrained swimmers
considered as the control group (n=7) .
In addition to resistance training, TRX and body weight groups participated in
their pre-planned 8 week swimming training. Control group only participated in
swimming training. Push-up, sit-up, leg force, medicine ball throwing, standing
jump with two leg tests were used in order to evaluate physical performances of
all the groups in the study while their swimming performances were evaluated
through  200m splits (50m,100m, 150m,
200m). Measurements were taken before and at the end of 8-week training
program.

According to the findings of this study; 200m swimming split
and physical performance  of swimmers
were improved significantly (p<0,05 ) in TRX group compaired to compared to
the body weight and control group. This improvement in TRX group is considered
to be originating from the nature of TRX movements which are executed on 3
different levels in a state of suspension and multi-junction.

                In conclusion, resistance
exercises with TRX in the observed age group are observed to have a positive
effect on the swimming and physical performance, and therefore we advise
trainers and swimmers to include TRX training programmes in their regular
training.
