ADÖLESANLARIN FİZİKSEL AKTİVİTE SEVİYELERİ İLE OBEZİTE FARKINDALIK DÜZEYLERİ VE BESLENME DAVRANIŞLARININ İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, adölesanların fiziksel aktivite seviyeleri ile obezite farkındalık ve beslenme davranışları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, 14-17 yaş grubu 1145’i (%58.2) kadın ve 821’i (%41.8) erkek olmak üzere toplam 1966 kişilik çalışma grubu ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Fiziksel Aktivite Soru Formu (FAS), Beslenme Davranışı için Üç Faktörlü Yeme Ölçeği (ÜFYÖ) ve Obezite Farkındalık Ölçeği (OFÖ) kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, fiziksel aktivite ölçeği için 𝑥̅=18.01±5.95 puanı elde edilmiştir. Katılımcılar toplam obezite farkındalık düzeyinde 𝑥̅=56.28±9.90 puan, ölçeğin alt boyutları değerlendirildiğinde; Obezite farkındalık boyutu için 𝑥̅=21.70±4.14; Beslenme farkındalık boyutu için 𝑥̅=19.87±4.02; Fiziksel aktivite farkındalık boyutu için 𝑥̅=14.71±3.08 puan elde etmiştir. Katılımcılar beslenme davranışları ölçeğinden 𝑥̅=43.75±8.01 puan almıştır. Ölçeğin alt boyutları incelendiğinde; Kontrolsüz yemek yeme davranışı için 𝑥̅=12.24±3.59; Duygusal yemek yeme davranışı için 𝑥̅=6.49±3.01 puan elde edilmiştir. Bilinçli olarak yemek yemesini kısıtlama davranışı için 𝑥̅=15.92±4.46; Açlığa duyarlılık davranışı için 𝑥̅=9.10±3.51 puan elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca, fiziksel aktivite seviyeleri ile obezite farkındalık düzeyleri arasında, fiziksel aktivite seviyeleri ile beslenme davranışları alt boyutları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Sonuç olarak; adölesanların fiziksel aktivite seviyelerinin düşük olduğu, Obezite farkındalıklarının yüksek ancak beslenme davranışlarının olumsuz olduğu söylenebilir. Ayrıca fiziksel aktivite seviyeleri obezite farkındalık ve beslenme davranışlarını olumlu yönde etkileyebilmektedir.
